For Firefox Users
Windows Live OneCare safety scanner is an ActiveX control. Firefox does not support ActiveX controls.
However, there is an
add-on available that you can use to run Windows Live OneCare safety scanner with Firefox. An add-on is a small piece of software that extends the functionality of your browser.
To use Windows Live OneCare safety scanner with Firefox:
- Install the IETAB add-on *
- Navigate to the Windows Live OneCare safety scanner homepage
- Right click anywhere on the page, then select View page in IE tab
- Run Full Service Scan
